January Open Day

This open day was very well attended, numbers being swelled by guests from the Holmes Chapel Camera Club. Jane (from Broadwings) and her daughter brought along a couple of birds of prey for the afternoon, as well.

 Jane and a Harris Hawk 

Jane (from Broadwings) came over once again to show a couple of their birds of prey. Here with a Harris Hawk.

 Hybrid falcon 

Another bird of prey from Broadwings. This time a three-species hybrid falcon.

 Young hedgehog 

One of the volunteers shows one of the young visitors a young hedgehog. Hedgehogs born in late summer are often too small to hibernate, and would die during the winter without care.
